Would have been a fun toy but the stickers to lift finger prints and the cards provided to save them on are made in such away that the striations in the plastic obliterate the prints making it worse than useless. Also the dusting brush is so hard and rigid it also destroys prints. If u dust for prints with a make-up brush and then photo them with a smart phone then u can still do the investigation. But this means that 50% of whats in the kit is worse than useless and would disapoint the kid if u can't problem solve the failings.
