Delivery Time
We aim to dispatch your orders same or next working day. Orders received by 1pm Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 1pm they will usually be dispatched on the next working day. During busy periods this can take longer.This applies to all mail services except Royal Mail Special Delivery, which will always be dispatched on the same day if received by 1pm Monday to Friday.
Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.
Delivery Time Estimates
The following delivery aims apply to different postage options but can take longer.
Royal Mail Tracked 48: Delivery aim 2 working days. Considered lost after 7 working days.
Royal Mail Tracked 24: Delivery aim 1 working day. Considered lost after 7 working days.
Next Working Day before 1pm: Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery for delivery next day. Dispatched on the same day if we receive the order before 2pm Monday to Friday, else next working day.
DPD Next: Sent as a Next Day service to Mainland UK.
Working days are Monday-Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
Delivery Tracking
You will receive a shipping notification on dispatch from info@steamrocket.co.uk. If you do not receive this, as a first step, please check email filters, but we are always happy to answer any queries on info@steamrocket.co.uk.
We offer free collection in person from Hove, East Sussex. Use code I-WILL-COLLECT-FROM-BRIGHTON at checkout. A collection time needs to be arranged. Once you have placed your order, please email us on info@steamrocket.co.uk.
Packaging
In order to minimise our environmental impact, we will reuse packaging where ever possible. We only buy recyclable packaging but will reuse plastic packaging/packing we have received.
Shipping Costs & Locations
Standard U.K. shipping costs £3.95 for orders under £40, or FREE for orders of £40 or over.
General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. While we endeavour to maintain accurate stock levels, in exceptional circumstances if an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you. If the missing item is the entire order, we will refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment. If part of your order is missing, we will contact you and offer you an alternative item, a refund of the out of stock item, or full refund of your order.
Damaged Items in Transport
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at info@steamrocket.co.ukincluding images of the packaging and any damage to the item.
We hope that you are fully satisfied with your order. If you are not, or you change your mind for any reason, you have the right to cancel up to 14 days after receipt. Please let us know within this time on info@steamrocket.co.uk and we will provide a returns authorisation number and return details. Items must be returned unopened and in the same condition as received received, within 28 days. We will issue a full refund to your original payment method. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs, and we advise you to use a tracked shipping method with insurance covering the value of the item.
If any item is faulty please let us know on info@steamrocket.co.uk and we will arrange for a refund or exchange at our cost.
Returns may take up to three business days to process from receipt.
Customs Charges
Non-UK orders may be subject to import charges and tax, payable by you direct to the courier. By placing an order on steamrocket.co.uk, you accept that you are responsible for these charges. Goods returned to us due to unpaid import charges will be refunded minus any shipping or associated costs incurred by us in sending and receiving the order.
Weight Limits
International shipping is based on product weight, with an approximate allowance given for packaging. We try to allow a generous allowance for packaging to give you an accurate shipping cost, while not overcharging for postage. Actual packaging weight will vary by product. If we are unable to package your product appropriately within the allowed shipping cost we will contact you to advise you of the difference in cost.
We are currently able to ship packages up to 2kg internationally. If you cannot see a shipping weight it means your cart may be too heavy. If you email us at info@steamrocket.co.uk we are happy to see if we can provide you with a bespoke shipping quote.
Delivery Time Estimates
We ship internationally via Royal Mail Tracked. The delivery aim (estimate delivery time from dispatch) to Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Luxembourg is 3-5 working days. The delivery aim to all other locations worldwide is 5-7 working days. Delivery timescales for international shipments are not guaranteed and can be subject to customs or other delays.
Lost Parcels
Parcels are considered lost and can be claimed no less than 20 working days after the due delivery date for items going to Europe and after 25 working days for Rest of the World.
